  • I'm discovering all these good bands so much later than I should have done!

Question as I know a lot of you folks like them too. Do they ever play live? Nothing on their main website and Facebook page shows nothing in the past or coming up. Would be great to see them. 8)

    Cheers

  • They haven't played live for about 15 years, but they eventually are planning some gigs in the summer. But nothing concrete now.
At the moment the only chance to see/hear some BBT music live is to visit a gig of their former singer Sean Filkins, who performs some BBT titles in his shows.

  • spotted in this months Prog magazine, a little article about Big Big train releasing a double album of English Electric with extra 4 tracks and if you have already bought the albums they are releasing these tracks as a cut price ep from their website. Also they are going to Peter Gabriel's Real World studios to record rehearsal for their subsequent tour, and those rehearsal will be filmed for a DVD/Blu-ray release.

    Sounds interesting.

  • It wasn't a long time ago I was recommended this band here on the forum. Thanks.

Yesterday I pre-ordered the English Electric - Full Power from Burning Shed. £14 for the box in it's signed glory! 8) And I have both single albums. Not even ashamed of the money-splashing in this case :!:
