  • You may have a point there essexboy. I get confused myself.

But Australia has many different timezones and I live in Western Australia. A state that is 3 hours behind New South Wales and Victoria. 2.5 hours behind South Australia. 2 hours behind Queensland (who are also still living in the 1950's) and WA is 25 years behind the rest of the world. That's why we are known as the Wait Awhile stat  e.

Looking forward to Adelaide. I think that England can win that one. Oh poo! I've just put the mockers on them!

  • Well what a sensational first day's play :!: :!: :!:

Who'd have thought we run through them for 78 on this so-called flat Adelaide pitch. And Cook and Trott continuing where they left off in Brisbane. I feel it was the right decision to drop Pieterson though, waste of bloody space IMO...........

  • Johnson dropped fom Australian team. No surprise there. Australian media is caning the Aussie team. Johnson and Ponting in particular.

I wonder in Johnson's Mum is giving him "curry" again. Ponting hasn't a clue.

Gawd help us if we get the World Cup........

  • Nothing really new in this. Johnson once had a spat with his Mum over his choice of girlfriend. He claimed it led him lose form...LOL!

We thinks it's funny and so does every comedian in OZ. He gets the piss taken out of him regularly about it.

He didn't take part in the nets today. All the other bowlers went full pelt.

    I think it's a con and he'll play.

  • Chokle the con in twentyfour racers. Then, at the outing´s bush: Tremble for Hitchings. Trout sprouts the defender´s griff. Trickle...Trump...Terrific! Oz bozzed, I´d say. But at the thefter´s round - incredible stomp at the ninish pole. Same old story: desperation is the english way...

OK, so I may have to withdraw this opinion....but I'm not apologising on Twitter for it

Apparently huge thunderstorms may well wash tomorrow's play away   This would be typical English sporting luck, as seen in so many England-Germany football semi-finals....................

  • so our luck has changed :D :D :D

now that was a serious thrashing, and I have no idea where the Aussies go from here; unless Ponting resigns in an attempt to emulate Botham in '81 :D

  • Great win.

The knives are really out now for the Australian team. Brad Haddin was offered the Captaincy fo the remainder of the series but turned it down. Ponting is seen as having no tactical nouse and lucky to stay in the team at all.

Katich and North's careers are over. Doherty's never got started. There are even calls for Brett Lee to be brought back in.

Debate is whether Smith, a leg spinner or Horitz, an off spinner, gets the spinners job.

That said. Watch out for the big fight back in Perth.

Shock horror! Perth has had rain for the first time since.....I can't remember that far back.

  • Am I really hearing that the Aussies are trying to tempt Warney back?

Now that is definitely not Progressive

  • You bet. And probably Dennis Lilley and Rod Marsh as well..lol:

The "replacements" have all failed with the bat in Sheffield Shield matches but ironically Nathan Hauritz scored a century with the bat but failed to take a wicket.

There will be at least 4 changes for the next Test.

  • Steve Smith and some nobody named Beer (appropriately) are in the team. I don't know who Beer is. I have been told that he is a decent District cricketer. That is he plays for his suburb in the City and Suburban League . He is a left handed slow bowler.

    He'll probably take 10 wickets.

Hell, I used to play at that level. And I have played at the WACA about a dozen times. Wonder if I could get a run?

Even Richie Benaud, who is in his 80's, expressed his disappointment at not being considered.LOL :)!

  • It is just wonderful to hear all this confusion and shambles in the Australian camp

I can't remember England ever panicking quite this much. I can only feel that more records will go next week.

But what if it all went wrong from here..................
