  • My intrigue has got the better of me

Yahoo (bot) is almost permanently logged in, but never says anything and you can't click on him to see who he/she/it is :? :?

How do you become a bot and what makes you special :?:

No offence to whoever you are - I really am just inqusitive

They are just search engines which automatically index the forum.

  • Yahoo (Bot) and I are often here alone late at night when many of you folks are in bed. I've kind of developed a soft spot in my heart for the guy/gal/it.

OK, thanks, that makes sense now :)

So essentially they're Deno's little helpers, yes? Aaah, how cute :)

  • I note that, right now, Yahoo[Bot] is here, and this time he/she/it has a friend - 'ask jeeves[bot]'
so pass me a shot, and make it a double
I'm a whole lot of trouble and I don't do subtle.

  • I think Yahoo (Bot) has dropped askjeeves (Bot) and now are more interested in Google (Bot). Can't blame him/her/it though. 8) A lot of late night browsing from those two lovebirds...

They are a bit shy on the forum - but they tell all they hear to the rest of the world. :!: So be careful with your secrets...

  • Maybe we should all add (bot) to our names to make our robotic chums feel more welcome?

Just think of all those sci-fi films about disgruntled robots that could have been cut short if only they'd thought to soothe them with some IQ tunes... they're clearly a robot-friendly band!
