I think you'd write another book. About the long-term effects.
    Title: Drugged and muttoned.

People cry, not because they're weak. It's because they've been strong for too long.

  • I spent a summer doing freefall. Not the whole summer you understand. I'd have to have been bloody high to take that long coming down.
Your call is important to us. You are moving up the queue. Let me play you The Corrs so you fuck off before I have to answer.

  • Stopped to smoke a joint, while standing at a 90 degree angle, Abseiling in North Wales. It was part of my 'Joints in unusual places' series, something I repeated at the top of Mt. Snowdon and Cader Idris.
so pass me a shot, and make it a double
I'm a whole lot of trouble and I don't do subtle.

  • Had the misfortune to work with (former) Australian Prime Minister, Kevin "tosser" Rudd or KRUDD, sorry K Rudd, as he likes to be known.

That was 20 years ago. he was a total wanker then and still is.

  • Saved a comrad's life in the military. But not as heroic as it may sound.

Based in Donauwörth, we used to have a midnight swim in the Olympian diving complex after returning from the pubs. And some would dive from the highest platform.

Also this time. First person was preparing his jump in the dark at the highest platform. Standing below, I noticed just in time that the bassin was drained and had no water in it. My scream also was just in time.

  • I´m allergic to iguanas. There´s only two cases known and descriped in medical literature - one is mine. It would not bother me at all if I wouldn´t like those animals and kept a pair as pets for five years which meant that I was walking around with swollen eyes, running nose and a heavy asthma until the male lizard died and we decided to give the female to the Berlin Tierpark...

  • This October will be the month, where I will have travelled more than 5.000 km and not using a plane, just car and train.

I never did that before, and I think, not too many people do that a lot.

  • Me next week:

    Krefeld - Dresden: 605 km
Dresden - Reichenbach and back: 270 km
    Dresden - Berlin: 194 km
    Berlin - Rüsselsheim: 567 km
    Rüsselsheim - Krefeld: 243 km

All in all 1879 km... that's a puddle jump.

    Prog and holidays - a long-distance-driving job.

Seeing that, I guess, I will get close to 6000 km. Rüsselsheim back to Dresden are around 500 km.
